The Virtual Lab allows reseachers to upload speciments of their own work and to share their research within science classrooms around the country. This means the work that you do is accessible within a week. This is an opportunity to contribute to an interdisciplinary resource. Participation in the Virtual Lab project also allws scientists to meet grant obligations when they are required to include educational outreach. Contact the developers to find out how to use your own equipment to prepare specimens for use online.
